ÖKO-TEST rates Speick Thermal Sensitiv Night Cream as “very good”

For its December 2022 edition, the “ÖKO-TEST” consumer magazine looked at 36 night creams from the natural and conventional cosmetics segment. Twenty conventional and sixteen certified natural cosmetic products were tested for controversial ingredients such as PEG derivatives, harmful UV filters and environmentally damaging liquid plastics.

In the test, ÖKO-TEST makes a distinction between night creams which claim to provide nourishing skincare and improved hydration and those, which also claim to have an anti-ageing or anti-wrinkle effect. The Speick Thermal Sensitive Night Cream falls under the first category. The magazine came to the conclusion that the positive effect on the complexion is due to the hydrating properties of the cream. According to ÖKO-TEST, the advantages of the anti-ageing products could not be satisfactorily demonstrated by any of the brands tested.

In total, 2 out of 36 products were rated as “very good”. The Speick Thermal Sensitiv Night Cream was among those that met the expectations and was awarded the best score.

The Speick Thermal Sensitiv Night Cream is a nourishing, regulating night cream with the benefits of siliceous thermal water from the Schlangenbad spa mineral springs. The pleasant texture with a highly active ingredient composition contains concentrated algae extract for optimising the skin balance, moisturising organic aloe vera gel, nourishing organic shea butter and protective organic camellia oil. The fine, fruity fragrance provides a spa-like experience when applying the cream. The Speick Thermal Sensitive Night Cream contains the unique extract of the high alpine Speick plant from biologically regulated wild harvesting (kbW).
